CCSS - Our Past Activities

Each year, CCSS organises calligraphy, painting, seal carving exchange exhibitions, women's exhibitions, workshops, talks and seminars. Overseas artists are often invited for these events. CCSS also organises similar events for other organisations.

In addition, the Singapore Tourism Board, Singapore Airlines, the Ministry of Finance and the Prime Minister's Office send members overseas for exchange programmes and to demonstrate calligraphy.

CCSS has received many VIPs to the Singapore Calligraphy Centre. The VIPs include:

President of the Republic of Singapore
Cabinet Ministers
Ministers of State
Parliamentary Secretaries
Permanent Secretaries
Deputy Secretaries
Ambassadors of People's Republic of China
President of People's Daily (China)
Diplomats

There is esprit de corps in CCSS. Each Sunday, from 10:30am to 2:00pm, the Exco and members gather for meetings and lunch.
